Travel and Matchday Advice
Traveling to London for the first time and not sure where to stay, how to get to the stadium, or where to eat/drink before the match?
How Do I Get To Tottenham? The stadium is served by four train stations: White Hart Lane (Overground rail / 5 min walk), Northumberland Park (Overground / 10 min), Tottenham Hale (Underground, Victoria line / 25-30 min) and Seven Sisters (Overground, Victoria line / 25-30 min). A number of bus routes pass within walking distance of the stadium. More travel information is available on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium website.
Where To Stay? Although it would be convenient for matchday travel to stay near the stadium, choosing a hotel in or around N17 may not be ideal for your other vacation plans. Consider finding a hotel near one of the train or bus routes that go to the stadium. MoCo Spurs members have previously stayed at the Ibis and Hoxton hotel chains but aren't on a direct transport route to Tottenham.Â
What Pubs Should I Visit? Recommendations include The Bricklayers' Arms, The Beehive, No. 8 Tottenham, The Antwerp Arms, The Bluecoats, and The Rose And Crown (in Stoke Newington but you can bus to the stadium). Oh, and The Corner Pin, which is operated by the same brewery that has facilities inside the stadium.
What Should I Eat? The options inside the stadium are rated as some of the best in the country but you may prefer something more local. The Antwerp Arms and The Beehive serve good burgers and visiting Chick King is a ritual for many supporters (if you can avoid the lines).
What Else Is There To Do At and Around The Stadium? Loads! Consider a stadium tour (the Spurs Legends tours are particularly cool), climb on top of the stadium via The Skywalk, or visit the Club shop (but give yourself plenty of time). You can visit the Ledley King, Harry Kane, and Son Heung-min murals outside the stadium. Once inside the arena, the The Voice of Spurs, James Black, sometimes leads the crowd in song on the concourses before matches. Oh, and remember to get to your seat with time to soak up the atmosphere before kickoff and snap some photos with your MoCo Spurs scarves!
